AI Automation Gumloop Raised $50 Million

$50 Million Series B for Gumloop
Canada-based AI automation platform Gumloop secured $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Benchmark. Major institutional investors including Nexus VP, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, The Cannon Project, and Shopify also participated in the round. The funding raised will be used to improve the platform's AI agent infrastructure and expand the engineering team.
No-Code AI Agents and Workflow Automation
Founded in 2023 by Max Brodeur‑Urbas and Rahul Behal, the platform enables users without technical infrastructure or software knowledge to create their own autonomous AI agents. These developed agents automate multi-step operations such as data entry, complex reporting processes, and responding to customer requests.
Gumloop's standout technical features are:
- Model Routing: The ability to switch dynamically between different AI models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini based on task requirements and cost optimization.
- Enterprise-Scale Sharing: Employees sharing the workflows and AI agents they create with colleagues on the internal company network to accelerate organizational automation.
- Large-Scale Use: The ability to integrate directly into the operational workflows of companies with high data volumes such as Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, and Instacart.
While offering internal company automation processes with a minimal learning curve, the platform also aims to optimize cloud and API costs by enabling selection of the most suitable task-based model.
