AI Integration in Healthcare

Major technology companies are deepening AI models with the healthcare sector. Anthropic added medical record analysis capability to the Claude model, while OpenAI increased its data processing capacity by acquiring the healthcare startup Torch. Google is focusing on medical text and image analysis with the MedGemma 1.5 and MedASR models. In addition, Nvidia and Lilly announced investment plans to establish a joint laboratory to accelerate drug discovery processes.

Agent-Based Systems and Workflows

Autonomous agents are gaining more space in corporate processes. Google announced the Universal Commerce Protocol standard for agent-based shopping transactions. While Anthropic introduced the Claude Cowork tool, which can organize files for desktop tasks, Salesforce turned Slackbot into an agent working with corporate data. McKinsey, meanwhile, launched a large-scale transformation aimed at supporting its employees with AI agents.

Model Developments and Infrastructure Investments

On the model side, Google began supporting mobile-compatible vertical video generation with Veo 3.1. In robotics, 1X introduced the World Model, which enables robots to learn from video data. On the infrastructure side, energy and hardware investments are drawing attention:

• Meta: Made agreements with nuclear energy providers for AI operations.
• OpenAI: Signed an agreement worth over $10 billion with chip maker Cerebras.
• Microsoft: Updated its data center strategy with community-prioritized infrastructure plans.

Investment Ecosystem

Capital flow in the sector focused on hardware, robotics, and interface technologies. Skild AI received $1.4 billion in investment, while Parloa received $350 million. In addition, OpenAI supported its human-machine interaction vision by investing in Merge Labs, which develops brain-computer interfaces.
